We headed north to the cool weather at Mormon Lake, near Flagstaff this past weekend.
This is our campsite. Each kid has their own tent. They love that!
See that thing on the back of my Yukon? It was my Mother's Day present. It holds all of the tubs I keep our (MY) camping stuff in. I never unpack them. They are always ready to go!

The clouds rolled in and sprinkled on us a bit. We retreated into the screened in area of our tent and the kids played cards.
David took a snooze.....he really hates camping. He only goes to humor me!
We took a hike and ended up on this nice ledge overlooking the lake (or where it should be). It was a great view. I had fun with the kids pointing out animal droppings and making them guess what animal left them behind. These kids are fascinated with poop! We all got a giggle out of it.

How great for you guys! I really want to go camping. Our kids aren't really up for it (except for the youngest). At least we get to escape this heat soon when we go to Montana.
